We all know this year has been completely different from any before so of course Christmas parties are completely different this year. Instead of watching our co-workers make out with each other and the management get wasted, we will be on camera having all of the awkward conversation but none of the booze to make it bearable. With this in mind I thought I would put together an edit of some of my favourite Christmas jumpers to be seen wearing this festive season, perfect for Zoom meetings.
ASOS
ASOS may not be one of my favourite websites after various stock and delivery issues but during the lockdown the website has been a god send for buying clothes. Rather annoyingly it is one of the only websites you can buy clothes that are relatively good quality and cheap. I bought a pair of joggers from Pretty Little Thing for £20 which can only be described as subpar but the joggers I bought from ASOS have been a savior during these months at home.
Whilst researching for this post, ASOS definitely had the largest range of Christmas jumpers and they didn't all look the same. Quite a few of the fast fashion websites I looked at had basically the same jumper, the same print and the same sort of colour scheme whilst ASOS had something a bit different.

The ASOS Design Christmas Jumper in Block Stripe is my favourite style I have seen this year. I love that the colour scheme does not include red for once and to be honest it isn't over the top in its festivities. I love a Christmas jumper but I do not want anything over the top. This jumper does not have many details but the cuffed balloon sleeves is a minimal detail that makes the fit of the jumper more flattering than your average Christmas jumper. Most Christmas jumpers are quite boxy and unflattering but that does not seem to be the case with this jumper.
Just imagine this jumper with a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of ankle boots, what a cute festive look. I really want to get this jumper to wear to the office to herald in the festive season. Too many Christmas jumpers have festive slogans which are a bit cringe whereas this just says 'Xmas', what is there not to like?
Sometimes a bit of sequin goes a long way. The Christmas Jumper that I have worn for many years has sequin Gingerbread men all over it. Christmas is the only time that sequins are acceptable and this year my top sequin pick comes from ASOS. Even though there are quite a few patterns within the sequins as most of the jumper is black it isn't too much. Personally I do not like much colour and this jumper has an acceptable amount of colour. This jumper comes in a regular fit but also Petite, I am a small lady so the fact that this comes in petite is great for me. I like an oversized jumper so I would buy this in petite but buy it in a couple of sizes bigger.

This jumper is £28 but 100% of the profit goes to the ASOS Foundation which helps young people in Kenya and India. By buying this jumper not only do you get a cute Christmas jumper but you also do a little bit for charity which is something that everyone should look to do at the festive season.
This jumper from Boohoo has been around for the longest time and I feel like everyone will have seen it. Of course this is a play on the classic Home Alone quote and who doesn't love Home Alone at the festive season. I make it my mission to watch Home Alone at least once every Christmas and this jumper just completes that movie set up.

Christmas Jumpers are usually comprised of a knit or a wool fabric but when I saw this jumper, I liked that it was a sweatshirt which makes it a little bit different. When you buy a wool or a knit you never know if it is going to be an itchy fabric but you do not need to worry about that with a sweatshirt. Sometimes a sweatshirt will have a fleecy lining but as this jumper is from Miss Selfridge, I do not think that is the type of quality we would be looking at with this jumper.
I feel like this jumper barely passes as a Christmas jumper but it does say 'Ho Ho Ho' on it, the font looks more sports-like than your regular Christmas jumper. This would be a good one to just throw on when you are hanging around the house, perhaps when you are putting up the decorations or when you are having a festive hang out with your friends. A pair of leggings and some fluffy socks will complete the look of this jumper.
Pretty Little Thing
ASOS might have the best range of Christmas jumpers and they might have some pretty good Christmas jammies but Pretty Little Thing have a whole variety of Christmas items. I actually thought about getting a Christmas headband but then I realised I would be going a bit overboard on the Christmas theme.
All of the Pretty Little Thing jumpers are all very similar, they are all knitted with some form of slogan so there wasn't really much to pick from. I picked the most basic options which only really have a slogan on it whereas some of the jumpers are a little bit much, they even have jumper dress which I have to say is a bit much for me.

Sometimes you need to stick to the classics and this jumper is very much a classic Christmas slogan jumper, it even has the classic Christmas red. Pretty Little Thing has plenty of Christmas slogans but this one is the most festive one that isn't too much.
I cannot promise the quality of this jumper is going to be good, in fact I think this is more likely to be similar to something you will find from Primark. I don't love that the font is not smooth, it makes it look a bit uncrafted but I do like the overall vibe of this jumper and it is one of the more festive selections I have included in this post. This is a good option if you are looking for something cheaper but festive nonetheless.

Not everyone wants a jumper that is super colourful so this is the option I am providing if you do not want a jumper that is over the top. The emo in me loves this jumper. It is ironic and I love that. If you want to create a festive outfit and perhaps you have some festive bottoms, this jumper could be a good match as there isn't a chance that this jumper would clash with them. You could even pair this jumper with a pair of white jeans if you are actually going to be leaving the house for some reason.
This jumper looks quite fitted around your body so I would recommend sizing up if you want a slightly bigger fit. Once again the font on this jumper is not great but the slogan is at the top of the jumper so the slogan would actually fit in your Zoom screen.

This jumper may be part of the Tall section but I think it is great nonetheless and also who doesn't want a little bit more length to their jumper. I have no idea how much longer this jumper is than a regular jumper as in all of the pictures on the website the jumper is rolled up.
This jumper has the same 'Let it Snow' slogan as the jumper from ASOS but you can see that this jumper has a very different look to the sequin ASOS number. This jumper is much more basic but it is also £10 cheaper. You don't see many baby pink Christmas jumpers so I just feel like this jumper is a little bit different and a great option if you want something a little bit more feminine this festive season.
Boohoo
When I spoke about ASOS and said that a lot of fast fashion websites stock Christmas jumpers that all look the same, Boohoo is definitely one of them. All of the jumpers have the same fairisle print just in a different colour and sometimes a different fabric. I do not mind a fairilse print but I am quite picky with them. A lot of them have a contrast colour scheme which is a little bit too much for me. However I did find one jumper I liked and to be honest it is bit of a festive classic.

You can get this jumper in many different colours all of which have the same white writing and festive print. Personally I like the red, it feels the most festive and if you are going to wear something with such a bold slogan and print you might as well go all out. The festive print on this jumper is relatively simple which is why I don't mind it. Obviously this is more of a niche jumper as it does rely on you knowing Home Alone, which none of my family would so it would be wasted on them but for true lovers of Home Alone, this is a great jumper.
To be honest finding a good Christmas jumper isn't going to be as important as it usually would be as for the most part no one is going to be seeing our Christmas jumpers. Turns out if we are lucky, the government might let us see or family, how lovely but friends are still off limit. Hopefully this guide will help get you through all of your zoom calls whether it is for work or with your friends.
