As I mentioned, I went to M.A.C Tangs counter today for the Spring Collection makeup class which I signed up for upon certain minimum purchase. So here's the Look of the Day, using the Plum Series, by artist, Nuni.
LOTD: M.A.C Spring Collection Forecast 2010 in Plum
The Plum makeup is not very strong here, because the makeup artist, Nuni, felt that she shouldn't do me into drama mama, since I was going somewhere else after that.
Nuni has such the prettiest eye makeup. She can do that yellow mustard M.A.C shadow (the only brightest one on the top row always) into oh wow! So wearable. Absolutely not exaggerated.
And the other day, she did her eyes in Ember, and she had red on the outter corner of her eyes. They don't look sore at all! I, of course, cannot do that.
Comparing the sales assistants (like M.A.C Sephora, MUFE Sephora, UD Sephora, Stila Tangs, Benefit Tangs and Sephora, Elizabeth Arden Taka), her makeup is definitely the most perfect I've seen. Amazing.
What I don't really like about full makeup is the number of layers they layer. I just can't stand it. Here's a list of the things used (some 17 I counted): (obviously all from M.A.C)
- Moisturizer
- Studio fix liquid foundation
- Studio fix powder foundation
- Mineralized Skin Finish
- Bronzer
- Pinch O Peach
- Plum series blusher, and eyeshadow palette, lipstick and lipglass
- Brow definer
- Concealer (the sculpting one)
- Almondine Lipglass from Ember
Hmmm, that's all I can remember. I feel so powdered, since I normally only use loose powder. My skin really can't stand it. I don't know if it's M.A.C or what. Or maybe all higher end traditional makeup. I broke out. I am having lots of pimples right now. =(((((
The same thing happened when I used Make Up Store 4 years ago. Hate foundation. Hate piling on powders. Look at the amount of stuff on my cheeks. =( No wonder I can break out. Like, one, two, three, four, five, size layers??
Yes, so M.A.C does clogs I think? Or is it I am sensitive?
LOTD: Office Lady + I am lazy
I was lazy to think, so a dress it is. All I had to do was match the accessories, shoes and bag (which I don't really care, I take the same bag everyday, lol).
I love little details. Don't wish to pay for plain flat clothes.
I think I featured this shoe before. Something I got from City Square in Johor. It is the same standard price for heels in Singapore.
I love multi-tasking shoes. Half black, half white, good for matching. And I like big buttons, as you can see from the dress as well. I like my foot to be strapped down. Hate slip-ins that make that flip-flop sound. Just hate it. This has a rounded front as well, good for the feet, and adds to girliness. :P I know, I am supposed to grow up.
Okay, this is it.
Scroll down for camwhoring, otherwise, there is nothing much else. =)
That's really all! Bye.
