The Taylor Swift Fragrance Trifecta | Comparison and Mini Reviews

My love of Taylor Swift is no secret, both in my blog and personal life. I've blogged about her here and here and I'm sure there's more to come in the future. Along with my love of Taylor, I'm also quite fond of perfumes and I've managed to accumulate quite a collection, a collection that includes all three Taylor Swift fragrances. I'm sure I would've bought them whether I like their smell or not but, luckily, I do. People occasionally ask me what separates them, especially the first two, so I'm here today to compare them!

Wonderstruck is the first perfume in the Taylor Swift fragrance empire. It has a beautiful purple duo-chrome bottle with gorgeous charms attached; a bird, a bird cage and a star(ish) shape. I'm not one to categorise scents by season (wear what you want when you want!) but I instantly think of winter when I smell this bad boy. Maybe I bought it in winter or wore it a lot in that season.

The tope notes of this perfume are raspberry, dew berry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom. The middle notes are vanilla, honeysuckle and hibiscus. The base notes are amber, musk, sandalwood and peach. I'm not going to attempt to describe this scent because, well, it would fail, but it's quite musky and dusty. Dusty is a good thing in this case, I promise.
The second scent in the Taylor Swift is Enchanted Wonderstuck. As the name and bottle suggest, it's much like her first fragrance, though a little sweeter and with more berry tones. The bottle is very similar to the first, this time in a red duo-chrome, and it also has the beautiful charms; a bird, a gem, a leave and a rose.

The top notes of this perfume are wild berries, pink poppy and passion fruit. The middle notes are peony blossoms, sugar-glazed champaca petals (what on earth is that?) and white freesia. The base notes of this perfume are white musk, vanilla and blonde woods. As you can see, some of the notes are quite similar to the original, though it's sweeter and more summer-esque.
Finally we have Taylor, the latest instalment in the Taylor Swift perfume line, only being released last year. Everything about this fragrance is different to the other two, from the scent to the bottle. The bottle has received a lot of criticism, though I really like it. I like the shape and I think the faux pearl and gold detail, along with the colours along the top, reflect her personality perfectly.

Taylor's top notes are lychee, tangerine and magnolia. It has middle notes of peony, hydrangea and vanilla orchid. The base notes are sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and soft wood. As you can see from the list of notes alone, Taylor went in a completely different with this perfume. It's a lot sweeter than the other two, and possibly more mature. I also find it has the longest wearing power of all three.

I really love all three of the perfumes mentioned above; Wonderstruck, Enhanced Wonderstruck and Taylor. I reach for different ones at different times (as I said, Wonderstruck reminds me of winter and Taylor is incredibly long lasting) and I have received compliments when wearing all three. If I could recommend just one, it would probably better one of the latter two, Enchanted Wonderstruck or Taylor, though I really would struggle to choose at all. If you're interesting in trying before you buy, head to a Myer store and ask for samples. They're generally more than happy to oblige!

Have you tried any of the Taylor Swift fragrances? Which was your favourite? Who's your celebrity girl crush?
