Let’s talk about Rosacea: Rosacea is a skin condition characterized by extreme erythema (redness) occurring at the central part of the face. (Forehead, Chin, Cheeks, Nose, and Philtrum) In severe cases, the whole face area is affected, including the eyes. (Which is considered as a fatal kind of Rosacea in medical literature) Rosacea is common in Caucasians, and there are reported cases of Rosacea occurring in tanned and dark- skinned people, although rare.

Rosacea typically starts as redness across the cheeks and nose, and often mistaken as a ‘natural blush’ by most people. If not attended to medically, Rosacea can lead to severe damages like Dermatitis and permanent scarring.

A severe case of Rosacea
One of the most common effects of Rosacea is Acne.
