Imagi-nation Sultanate of Hatay may be placed wherever I want and need: from Atlantic isles at African West Coast, Maghreb, Dark Africa, Zanzibar through Balkan, Middle East, Caucasus, Turkmenistan, Back Of Beyond, Afghanistan and India to Indonesia and Singapore. Very flexible, either for player or for NPC (Game Master instrument). They usually are Muslim, but may be Hinduists or even cultists of Cthulhu, what suits more the scenario.

His Majesty Sultan equips His army in old British army surplus uniforms, but with His own colours.

Figures of riflemen are from HaT Set 8203 Colonial Wars Indian Infantry.

Rest of figures are from Early War Miniatures and they suit together perfectly.

Supplementing plastic HaT riflemen with metal Early War Miniatures support/specialists is my most optimal way to build complete and cheap army. I have done this few times (f.ex. Indian WW1), will try to show in the future (WW2 Italians, British Infantry Tropical) and hope for (support for HaT Set 8292 British Infantry (Early) capped: artillery crew, Vickers HMG, mortars and Lewis Gun shooters - from hip, please! - desperately need them for Federales&Warlord Army).

Fikcyjny Sułtanat Hataj może się znajdować gdziekolwiek potrzebuję: od wysp na Atlantyku na Zachód od Afryki, przez Magreb, Czarną Afrykę i Zanzibar, przez Bałkany, Bliski Wschód, Kaukaz, Turkmenistan, Mandżurię, Afganistan i Indie po Indonezję i Singapur. Bardzo poręczna i uniwersalna armia, zarówno dla Graczy jak i Mistrza Gry. Sułtanat najczęściej wyznaje islam, ale może również hinduizm, albo zgoła Chtulhu.

Jego Wysokość Sułtan odziewa swoją armię w stare brytyjskie mundury, tyle że przefarbowane w Jego kolory herbowe.

Figurki żołnierzy to zestaw 8203 HaT Colonial Wars Indian Infantry.

Reszta figurek jest z Early War Miniatures i pasują razem doskonale.

Uzupełnianie plastikowych żołnierzy HaT metalowymi specjalistami Early War Miniatures jest moim ulubionym, optymalnym sposobem zbudowania kompletnej i taniej armii. Robiłem tak już wcześniej (n.p.: Hindusi z 1 WŚw), mam zamiar robić i w przyszłości (2 WŚw Włosi, Tropikalni Brytyjczycy).

Those crewmen may be used to either crew heavier artillery, mortars, armored trains, as MG ammo carriers or as targets in scenario.

Ta dwójka została skonwertowana Greenstuffem: wyrzeźbiłem turbany i poprawiłem tuniki.



You may wonder why I have not placed HMG crew on bigger stand like Hotchkiss MMG. I plan on placing this stand into some narrow spaces: truck, armoured train, aeroplane, howdah etc.
Być może zdziwienie budzi, dlaczego nie umieściłem CKMu na większej podstawce, tak jak zrobiłem to z RKM. Powodem jest to, że planuję wstawić ten CKM w wąskie przestrzenie: ciężarówki, pociągu pancernego, samolotu, słonia etc.




And yes, I know they are the only ones without the beards. They are younger probably. Or maybe beards could stick into Vickers mechanism? ;)
I tak, zauważyłem, że są to jedyne figurki bez bród. Prawdopodobnie to młodziki. Albo może brody wciągnęłoby w mechanizm Vickersa? ;)

In the future I plan to support this force with HaT Set 8289 Colonial Bengal Lancers and EWM Complete stripped down Screw gun 2.5 inch RML carried on 5 mules and maybe some more metal Indian Cavalry.

W przyszłości planuję wesprzeć ten oddział zestawem HaT 8289 Bengalskich Lansjerów oraz kolumną trasnportową z EWM i może paroma innymi metalowymi Hinduskimi kawalerzystami.
