enjoying the everyday...

Hello again!

It's been ages since I've been here and

I truly have no excuse, except that I

have just been enjoying the everyday

that life brings me:

a wonderful long holiday weekend

with my childhood friend was filled

with lots of laughter, late nights, music, dancing,

bbq-ing, playing yahtzee, a few tears

here and there and just a fabulous time!

I have also been going to yoga and pilates

in the evenings after work and when I don't

do that I either walk or ride my bike around

the neighborhood.  Truly taking advantage of

the gorgeous weather that we have been having.

I also planted a small herb garden - fingers

and toes crossed that at least a few survive...haha

Dinner and drinks with girlfriends have been a

weekly occurance - gotta love some girl time!

Tasting my daughter Steff's vegan creations are

always a favorite of mine!  She will be moving up

north to go to college in a few short months and I

am just starting to come to terms with that - it's

very exciting and bittersweet at the same time. 

Time with my guy is what I look forward to in the

summertime too - we have a few trips planned and

are so looking forward to getting away for a bit!

So, these have been the days of my life recently.
